Up to two prenatal visits with optional postpartum visit.
Early labor support as needed
Continuity of care once active labor has begun
Enhance and support father's participation in the birth process
Strive to maintain a calm, non-interventive, peaceful environment by utilizing massage, music, relaxation and mobility
Breastfeeding support
Assistance with birth plan preparation
Complement and/or supplement information provided in childbirth preparation classes
Optimal Fetal Positioning instruction included
Provide community resource and referral list
Provide arrangements with a back-up in the event I am unavailable

Expectations of the Client

Open, honest communications on issues that will have a bearing on your childbirth experience

Full disclosure of all medical conditions which may affect any member of your childbirth team

Phone contact with your doula following each visit to your health care provider

Notify doula that labor has begun and again when you want her to come

Familiarize yourself with your birthing facility

Provide at least two referrals for my service

Getting Started

Contact and interview your doula.
Sign an agreement and pay your deposit/fee.
